Unsere Kaffeebohnen-Mischung besteht aus 75 % kolumbianischer Arabica und 25 % brasilianischer Robusta. Diese Kombination sorgt für fruchtige Aromen von roten Beeren und eine dezente Nussnote – ganz natürlich, ohne Zusätze.

one of the best cafes in the city, maybe even the best! i’ve been living in konstanz for months, and whenever i want a delicious coffee or a filling breakfast, hippo is always my first choice. the sucuk toast, tomato-mozzarella, and pesto breakfasts are my favorites. the desserts are also absolutely delicious (the carrot cake is definitely worth trying). the owners, volkan and cemre, have always been very kind and take great care in everything they do. you can tell they really care about what they do, and it shows in every little detail :)
nice spot for a coffee or Sunday brunch. Heads up for someone who is going for the first time, you have to order the food at the counter and then it will be brought to your table. Food was really nice, the staff was friendly. This may sound a little dumb but a small detail i noticed while eating was the silverware, the fork was way too long and thin and it was a little uncomfortable to handle my food (personal perception). Other than that, happy to go back!
Such a gorgeous place! Not only delicious food, but the staff and the atmospehere of that place.. just fantastic! And I recommend going to the bathroom 😁✨
For an australian coffee snob, Hippo was a great discovery! Good coffee, delicious and well presented food, excellent service. Would highly recommend!
